I've got sympathy for the tube bosses on this one tbh.... they want to cut some back room staff as part of a £2bn saving exercises, they don't want to raise the salaries (from what i can read online tube driver average pay is 35k ish) both of which are understandable in this economic climate and the unions call a strike.
