I'm investigating putting the long aluminium seat rails into the floor of my vito. This is so that I can have more load carrying options and not for a third row of seats. It is a 6 seater with one set of 4 steel fittings on the floor for the second row of seats. Here are my questions.
1. What variant of W639 came with the 4 aluminium rails that are the length of the rear load area? Was there a long variant that had them?
2. Are the fitting points for these rails likely to already be in the floor of my dualiner (before I go lifting the flooring)?
3. Would my seats that currently mount into the black painted steel floor mounting points fit into the alu rails? The seem to have the same little mounting points within the rails.
4. Are the points on the alu rails where the lashing attachments go standard? Would, for example, unwin lashing points fit in to them?
