Look carefully at the badge on the back.....

Comes complete with "BARBRUS COPY ALLOYS" and "W124 GRILL CONVERSION"

LMFAO yes it's an SEC grill hmm... Ruined. Too-after-market-y wheels as well.

Hes not even got the 'W' designation right....... an SEC is a W126

Would you really buy a car from someone who calls it a 'rude boy merc' , what sort of life has the poor old beast had ?

Green Neons  and to finish it all off ....... an Irish number plate......

There used to be a car like that round where I live, well he'd put an SEC bonnet onto a CL, sacrilage if you ask me. IMHO, modifications should be tasteful not gawdy. :D

At least he's sticking to the same part of the model range ;).

I suppose one man's meal is another man's poison. Someone will buy it and hopefully be very satisfied.

He likes it not,
He likes it,
He likes it not :)

I am merely suggesting that someone might buy it and then join this forum.

It would be nice to welcome them and respect their ideas of what is nice?

Some folks even think the CLS looks nice.....

err...the CLS looks utterly fantastic to me - deep sides, shallow windows....what is there NOT to like about it?

deep sides, shallow windows.... Especially the shallow windows :)

If I wanted a coupe, I would buy the excellent CL. If I wanted the saloon then I would choose the S, or the E. The CLS is neither one, nor the other and it is not something I would have instead of either.

Lots of people 'like it' but it is just not something I would buy. Folks say "If I had the money, then I would buy it!" but when push comes to shove..... I just feel there are better cars out there.

I am only answering this because you asked me the question.

I respect I'm in the minority, I would wish anybody well that buys one, and I respect their decision. After all we own an estate car, but just don't try to convince me to like the CLS.

I don't like spinach eitheer, but lots of folks do. (I wonder if there's a connection?)

Take care,
John

When i first saw the pics of it i did`nt like it.

However,i recently saw one in my local town in black and it certainly had presence....

But do`nt call it a coupe MB - its a 4 door saloon.

Maybe there is a connection........... - I like CLS's AND spinach.

I do, however, agree on the subject of estates; I much prefer them for some models. C Classes included. I drive a C43 saloon but thing the estate is much better resolved in my view. I would like a C32 estate next.

....well what I would REALLY like is a C55 estate but I am about £40k short....

Audi estates also cool in my view - one of my mates has just bought an A4 Avant 3.0 Quattro, another an RS6.....I need the C32 to compete
