Only bought as a second car, still have the beloved Merc. Mrs O' loves the colour and I think I do too, its certainly different. Hopefully I can pick it up this weekend and will let you know more.

Although I know what you mean, where was your car made? YOu may find it too is an import.

No, I won't as it was made in the EU under Type approval.

A Japanese Grey import isn't so some insurers wont insure them.

It is, I have.

Took out insurance for the MB earlier this week with direct line so that I get the multicar benefits and the Mazda was quoted, no problem, although it comes up as a 1600 intead of the 1500.

The seller sounds like a good egg, as I thought he would due to the CLK in the background of his pics.

FWIW Frank, I switched from Direct Line to Admiral Multicar, and I saved just over 50% (£700!)
