Actually, now I think about it, not many, and each one a step up ; I bought the ML320 in May last year, the ML500 in September as a stopgap, then the ML420 to replace that in November, and, er, that's it. For now, but possibly not for long...

(Logic dictates I should have kept the ML320, but it just didn't have quite enough performance for me, and the ML500 did.) If the right W164 ML500 comes up, I'll have it like a shot. There was a low-mileage one in Norfolk recently that I'd have had, but it was in Golders Green Gold (I'd have said Jewish Racing Gold, with no racist intent whatsoever, but somebody would have misunderstood and objected) with a black interior, and it was very much not to my taste.
