Hi, SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
I have a lovely 1992 190E 1.8 for sale with only 74,000 miles on the clock and a full service history.....15 stamps in the service book with all but the last two being undertaken by the supplying dealer Portland Garage (Chichester) Ltd.
The car was originally a company car and was owned by BP International. The exceutive who ran the car then acquired it when he retired and he kept it to 1998 at which point it was acquired by a mature lady driver living in Cranleigh-Surrey.
As you will see from the photographs the car is in excellent condition throughout......not a spot of rust to be seen on any panel or wheelarch and the midnight blue paint has no paint fade due to it being garaged for all of its life.

The body is also completely free of panel dents and dinks...see down the side of the flanks

You can also see just how clean it has also been kept by looking at the photo of the door-jamb

I also don't think the boot has been used that often judging by the condition of it

The interior is also in excellent condition and whereas many 190's exhibit wear on the drivers seat side bolster, this car has no wear at all and the rest of the interior is unmarked.

The engine bay is also very clean and tidy

On the road the car is quiet, with not a squeak or rattle and the engine is very smooth, providing good performance and really feels very similar to the larger 2.0 190E.
The car has a manual 5 Speed gearbox and is none the worse for it unlike some of the other models in the Mercedes range, as the 190E has a proper handbrake rather than the more common foot operated parking brake.
The clutch is super light and the box has a good gear change.
The car is also fitted with ABS, a sunroof, central Locking,Blaupunkt Sterio Cassette and a rear arm rest is fitted.
Car is also fitted with good tyres and has an MOT until February 2007.
I think this will be a great first Mercedes for somebody, or for somebody who wants a nice low mileage economical older Mercedes.
I'm looking for offers near to £2150 which when you bear in mind the condition, mileage, history etc is fair value for money espcecially when you consider that it also comes from the era when Mercedes quality was at its peak and puts the current models to shame in terms of build quality.
If you disagree with my pricing then please contact me with an offer that you think is reasonable and lets see whether we can agree a deal
Car is in Reading and I can be contacted on 07830 321060 anytime.....you are actively welcomed to come and have a look at the car....you won't be disappointed....its got to be one of the best 190's out there.
Many thanks
