Looking for VIN number for a W208 CLK55AMG convertible

Seems like it's difficult to find such a convertible and the VIN number?

I need the VIN to find parts number for (LCA) the lower control arms.
The CLK55 AMG convertible had lower control arm bushings which are solid and probably much stiffer than the regular AMG's.
I want to put these rock solid LCA on my car.
I would kindly need some assistance for a VIN so I can buy the parts.

Hi,
You don't need the full chassis number to list the parts, just enter the first six numbers of the chassis number into the EPC.
For the CLK 55 CAB it is WDB209476, or WDB209477 for the CLK 63 CAB.

Someone suggested I ask you experts for some help getting a VIN number for a car i bought years ago without a V5 or a Vin number(panel has rotted away).
It's a 1982 VW Golf and i am looking to apply for a new V5 but the DVLA are not much help.
The Reg number is ESB 25X.
Please can someone supply me with the VIN?I would be eternally grateful for any help with this and more than willing to paypal a fee for this.

Found this in 2 mins by googling how many Vins on 1984 VW golf (forgot what year as I typed)
You could always ask a marque specialist or the VW forum, as there are multiple VINs on a car to avoid thieves cutting out the obvious ones.....

Thanks for your reply. Checked all the suggested places already and there are no stickers on the car or a dash in it so at a loss as to where to go from here. I know some people can enter a reg number somewhere and get the VIN number from that

Try your local Police station?
VW dealership?

Fed your reg in to a site and it was ‘unrecognised’.

You may have to get it officially assessed, and a new VIN issued.

VIN digits you mention, both starts with WDB209.
LCA are they the same for w208 and w209 cars?
I thought the newer WDB209 had a different suspension design on LCA than w208 which I'm looking for?

I found this parts number for an US market CLK55 AMG Convertible.
It shares the same parts number for LCA between the convertible as for the coupé?
Convertible had stiffer bushings for more stability.
This can't be correct?

Looks like there weren't many CLK55 AMG convertibles sold in Europe?
I have only found US imports, but couldn't get the VIN from them.

There were just 39 RHD W208 CLK convertibles in the UK. Some have been written off.
