Looking to purchase this C63

Thanks lads, I know it’s a Merc forum and all that but it was too good to turn down at the price I have got it for. It certainly won’t sound as good as the W204 C63 but as an all rounder personally I think I’ll enjoy it a bit more…

As said I will have another C63 at some point but prices are all over the place and it has really put me off

When i was looking b4 i bought the c63 i was advised to have it done asap if not done already and i only looked at standard cars but as you say probably not a big issue it wasn't an expensive job in any case
Enjoy the car same colour as i looked at but with the white leather 🙂

That’s the motor
3.0l fart box, oh well we all take a wrong turn in life.......

There is a good reason a older PPP w204 amg costs a lot more than your BM.......

Oh really? For example the ones that have been sitting around for months that don’t sell because they are overpriced? And I know because I have been looking for months. And I genuinely got mine for an excellent price. A 30k mikes example on a 15 plate is more like £30-£32k pounds

Sounds pretty good to me and let’s face it tell me a car that sounds better than a w204 C63? I can’t think of any but more to a car than just noise. The W205 C63 is a better all round car than the W204 but doesn’t sounds anywhere near as nice.

Unfortunately that is true....when I was looking at a C63 204 (before I decided it was too small) i was looking on AT.....a few on there I looked at then are still on there! Mind you its the same for the overpriced E63 212 models. How long do they thing they should stay for sale before conceding they are just too expensive!!!?? Especially at a time when used car prices are finally falling!!

Very true mate. Cars I was interested in that were priced ‘well’ sold quite quickly. Like you say same with the W212 E63….some been up for sale for months on end. That kind of tells the story

Maybe they don’t want to sell them. My mate Dave prices high and doesn’t pick up the phone. As far as Mrs Dave is concerned the car is for sale. As far as Dave is concerned it@/ not going anywhere! 😁

Very nice:cool:
Post up some pics when you get your hands on it please - will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the DCT transmission too.
Thanks mate. Yeah Iv heard it can be a little jerky around town especially if you had it in Sports mode. To be honest I’m not too fussed as it’s purely going to be a weekend car.

Looks nice. I looked at one.....very nice to drive and pin sharp handling....rear leg room killed it for me....my 13 year old son will soon be my height (5'11") and my 159 has slightly more rear leg room. M5 F10 still appeals though.

It looks like a lovely example, I am sure you will love it. I had an M6 with the DCT gearbox and found it to be excellent, even at low speeds.

“Wrong turn”.
Mmm.
My 135i had the 3.0i “fart box” engine with DCT - and as driver’s car it was superior in every way imaginable to the w204 C63 I owned - on track and on the road.
I haven’t driven this iteration of the M3 so can’t express an opinion on it - but I reckon it will be amazing.
Good luck OP.

Yep I had both an M135i and M235i with the 3 litre engine and ZF gearbox. They were absolutely amazing, great value and performance was unbelievable for an ‘m lite’. They also sounded pretty good too so imagine the M3 will be a level higher
