I have searched through the forum and found posts for mirror / cover replacements, but none for the complete wing mirror.

The other day a lorry took out my wing mirror, due to one way road I could not get back in time to get his details and now need to pay or claim on my insurance.

Went to the local MB garage, they wanted £590 for P+L to replace. I was shocked, £590 !!

Anyway have been looking online found some similar (but not the same) selling for £150 to £200.

Anyone know of a supplier. The model is W211, uplift. E220 CDI, 2008. Colour silver.

Grateful for any help on this .. I still cant get over the £590 quote form MB

Thanks in advance :)

Try Parts Reunited, Euromerc, ebay, breakers yard etc

MB will charge you an arm and a leg and a few ribs too....

Try mercman (an MB breaker somewhere in the South-West!) - Google it, he is very helpful and very competitive price-wise

Thanks for the feedback. Not found the item yet on ebay and Euromerc, will check others and keep looking ... worst case is I will claim on insurance.

Excellent, I had searched ebay and could not find one :o Anway, now sorted, thanks.

Thanks for your help. Next task is to find someone in the Enfield / north London area to fit it.

Why not try a gent on here named 'acid' or with a nic 'barbus...' something.

He does MB parts with OEM consumables for around 40%, though for replacement parts I am not so sure. PM him or he might come along soon to this thread.

Try Euromerc.

I've saved plenty and had excellent service.

LINK.

Cheers for that link, been looking for a boot tub for a while for my w203 coupe & have just found and ordered one from there.:thumb:.
I also, through this site, have had an item from Dronsfield & was provided with good service & reasonable pricing from here too.

It's simple to fit if you are remotely handy. I'm sure there is a thread on here which talks about broken folding mirror looms, but would assist you in this regard.

Its just a suggestion but here in Doncaster we have the UK's;argest breakers yard.. Motorthog.co.uk

It may be worth a try if nothing else helps
