I met him at the infamous Torquay 2007 GTG for GloJo where we stood by his car and asked if the fish & chip van was nearby! He took it in good humour. (that GTG was where I met my now wife - Best Forum!)He certainly had a reputation, but from my own personal experience he was only ever really nice to me, both in person and on the forum. And of course incredible knowledge about anything and everything. He used to love taking his paint depth meter to get togethers!
I hope Dieselman and other list members are safe and well.
