I seem to have lost more or less all power and can not get past 3k rpm, feels very hesitant and is using a lot more fuel than normal.

Plugged into obd reader and the following codes came up.

P2463
P2453

Reset the stored and pending codes which turned the engine management light off, but it comes back up within a few miles.

Where should I start
what could it be
how much is it going to cost to sort out

Car has been running perfect till yesterday, since I purchased it Dec/Jan

Ouuchh, had this on my old W203 but could not pull any codes as there was issues with the ecu as well.

Replaced stat it regenerated all was well. Stat is fine on this temp goes up to past 80 degs, going to take it for a blast up the motorway tomorrow, but from what I read t wont regenerate with faulty sensor.

I do take it on a run 2-3 times a month, cant understand why its blocking.

Thanks for the heads up, will update thread with info during the week, once I can get it booked in to start sorting this out.

Well I can't guarantee the accuracy of the source but if you search on here for "DPF" you will see other members have reported similar fault codes

Booked in for tomorrow, also noticed temp goes upto 85 ish, then drops to below 80 around town and at motorway speeds, going to replace stat as had same issues with temp on w203.

Will update thread soon as I have info on what it needs and what has happened to fix this.

Does sound like a DPF blockage, I did a Peugeot 307 yesterday you should see the amount of carbon that came out in the sludge. After that I did a forced re-gen, reset the DPF, replenished the Pat fluid ,reset the additive counter & the throttle adaptives . The owner came back today & told me he is now getting between 41.5 - 44.7mpg city instead of 33.4 & the Engine light on!

Update:

Changed differential pressure sensor, runs perfect now, back to full power, going to see for the next few days how the stat behaves.

Had this done under warranty, but the part price is £49.99 +vat. Can see the sensor at the end of the air filter box, towards the bulk head.

Will go for a longer run and see if it regenerates and if MPG is higher than it was.

I seem to have the same issue.

For starters i was going down an A road a few weeks ago and lost all power. I got home are the turbo inlet was loose. Turns out my inlet seal was knackered. Replaced it (plus some of the inlet manifold seals) and it was fine. A few days later I lost power again, but it wasn’t as severe. Then the next day the check engine light came on. Ran a check and it said the particulate filter was beyond threshold and there was a pending fault with the sensor. Cleared the fault and it ran fine. Then happened again. I’ve ordered a new sensor which should be here in a few days. Then hopefully a blast up the motorway will clear the filter (that’s if it is actually blocked). I think I’ve damaged the sensor when sorting out the turbo inlet. I’ve had my ML350 for 3 years and never had a issue.... then 2 within a few days.
