As its a £40Million+ jackpot tonight (Fri 24th Feb), I thought I'd throw a debate out there to see what would be on members list of cars they'd have in their stable once the check had cleared and the very large garage/small hangar had been constructed.

I'll kick off with:

300SL "Gullwing"
W100 600 Grosser for my limo
W124 500E/E500 (because you just have to, don't you?)
G55 AMG LWB
Something from AMG's Black Series
Or a CLK DTM
W109 300Sel 6.3
Pagoda 280SL (For the missus)
w211 E63 AMG estate to transport the dogs

That'll do for starters.

Over to you....

1) I would keep my 2001 E320 CDI and have her totally restored :bannana:
2) SL 500 1999 shape
3) Range Rover Sport ;)
4) Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Convertible 1963 vintage
5) Bugatti Veyron Just to say I've had one. :D

I'd get AMG to build me a W126 560 SEC with running gear and interior from a late model CL63 and the fixed glass roof of a B class.

I'd buy a 300SL Gullwing, drive it to the AMG Black Boy's building, leave it outside with a holdall of cash on the passenger seat and then go and pick it up a couple of weeks later.

And a Phantom, the one with the 9.0 ltr V16.

W201 190E Evolution I

300SL Gullwing

W212 E63 AMG 5.5 Bi-Turbo

GL450 V8 CDi.

W207 E500 cabriolet.

Forgot to add:

a W123 limousine for a lads road trip somewhere across Europe.

I'd take it to Brabus instead. Have read an article on their classic MB restoration dept. They do some very impressive work whilst retaining the classic looks of the original car.

300SL Roadster
GL450 CDi
SLS Coupe
E63 Estate
Smart Brabus (for popping into the village) :)

That's it for MB products.

Veyron
Aston Martin 1-77
LR Defender

Then a few motorbikes and engine powered toys (Tankl/Halftrack) I'm done.

A boring old fart really, I would keep my B class and buy a new R Class, too old for the sporty cars and too fragile a back for the AMG's suspension:D

Wafting along in a Mercedes is what it's all about!

AMGs are obviously brilliant, But sometimes you just want to arrive in due course and comfort.

300SL Gullwing
Brabus EV12 Cabriolet
Brabus GV12
Brabus SLS 700 roadster
SLR722 roadster
2012 E500 Cabrio but converted to run the 5.5 BT AMG V8

Plus a stable of Ferraris and Lambos...

Hmmm.. lovely problem to have!

1. SLS convertible
2. CLS500 ('cos I could afford the petrol cost, but prefer the subtler look to the AMG)
3. 212 E350cdi estate for cruising across continent with friends and stuff! :)
4. Range Rover Evoque (just 'cos wifey likes it!)
5. Porsche Carrera 4 for fun
6. Lamborghini Miura (just to look at...) :)
7. Subaru Forrester for anonymous everyday and off-road work.

Among my fleet would be something loud, fast and very scruffy. Preferable with an Uncle Buck style backfire.

This would be used for 'posh' functions and would, hopefully, annoy the hell out of 'posh' people. (and give valet parking staff a bit of fun).

How about a rat look W116 450SEL 6.9, de-badged?

So much to choose from, but for starters

1. SLS softtop for blasting around in
2. W116 6.9 for wafting around in
3. E63 for being a wolf in sheeps clothing in
4. Unimog for going anywhere you damn well please in

a Jensen Interceptor and Aston DB9 or DBS would have to figure somewhere too.

S600 (with someone to drive it) and 300SL convertible. Everything else I'd rent.

Along with a replacement engine and gearbox for my SL, I'd keep the W126 and add a CL and E55 Estate, one way or another a vehicle to arrive in appropriate style at every event!

I'm sure that would do the job but might be too nice to spoil.

I would intend to leave any dents in place and refuse to wash outside.
