Loud clunk / noise front LHS

When I take off slowly the car is okay.
If I try to take off quickly there is a clunk noise from the front passenger side
Any thoughts on what this could be before I take her in to be looked at.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Track rod end / suspension top mount / sway bar drop link ?
Does it pull slightly to that side when accelerating?

No it doesn't pull to the side it's just like a clunk when you try to take off quickly.
Just had MOT 3 weeks ago and only got an advisory for pads and discs So got the mechanic at work to fit new discs and pads and he said everything seemed tight,suspension etc. But I did not have the time to let him have a test drive so left it over Xmas. We are back on Monday so he can give it the once over. I don't pay for any labour on mechanics so that's a big plus!!
Thanks for the advice and I will let you know what the outcome is.
