Louvered Sunroof on an ML320 - ???

Been in touch with a dealer that has an ML 320 with a fold back sunroof?

Anyone any experience with these? Bigger than regular sunroof? Reminds me of a poor webasto in my old MGB GT or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Any thoughts/feedback welcome.

The louvered sunroof was dropped when the face lift ML came along. It had something to do with someone having and accident and the roof slats shattered and caused injury I believe. The concept was good though as the roof really opened up in summer.

It does mean that the ML the dealer is talking about is a pre-face lift.

I have a louvre type sunroof on my A190. It is DFW and I am not sure whether it's the motor or the switch. I have checked the fuse and it's ok. Any ideas? No noises at all when I push the switch.
