My trusty 2008 B200 CDi Sport has just let me down, first time after 9 years of ownership. Engine management light came on and the engine died on M6 at rush hour (Sorry guys, I was the one who they closed the lane for ! )
RAC ran diagnostic and found "Low Fuel Rail Pressure". After 20 minutes engine could be started and ran for 20 minutes until it died again. Car then trailered to my local garage who didn't have kit to check it. The sequence of stop/start travel happened for 4 or 5 times until I got home. Could this be a simple thing like a HP fuel sensor ??
Any ideas gratefully received.
