I know a lot of people are shy of the V12s, but a 48K C140 for £4000 is very good value IMHO.

Is the seller a dealer......? looking at the background of the pics makes me wonders... there's an old W124 (I think) estate, and an old 5 Series (possible - check open door pic) in the background....

I wondered similar, but I doubt he's into car sales - doesn't really read/look like a car salesman's type of advert or photos IMHO.

Maybe it's a local garage selling a customer's car on their behalf or similar?

Either way up, £4000 seems a fairly low price for that? I bet it'd be up for £10k+ at most MB specialists with that mileage

To be fair though, reading his auctions it doesn't appear that he's your typical 'trader' as such.

He seems quite a classic/quirky/rare car enthusiast and collector that is in the business of restoring cars/mechanical work etc? I guess he's bought some of those cars for his own personal use than purely for resale.

Either way - the car in this thread seems good value and I guess your usual 'trader' would have marketed it more aggressively to ensure a higher sale price!
