Spotted this at auction which might interest forum members. However at the time of writing this no pictures have been posted up by BCA.

Not often you see an E55 with such low mileage let alone an Estate E55!

I'd reckon though you might find yourself competing with some specialist dealers on this, so I doubt it will go cheap. Not least because I've now made more people aware of it by posting it up - woops!

probably a bad move going public my friend!!!

People get silly about rare low mileage stuff at auction so don't expect that'll be a bargain!

Especially at Blackbushe
Add the buyer's premium and as a private punter and you'd probably be better off with one from a dealer with a test drive and warranty. Anyone going to be there to let us know what it makes?

You're bang on the truth with that statement

Think this one needs a wide berth - it's a pretty tatty grade 5 (1-5 with 5 being the worst). Quite a bit of rust, badly scuffed and cracked bumpers.

It's also pre-facelift. And it's only had one recorded service in it's 12 year life at 36k miles. Also the MOT has expired.

Still keen?:)

How do you get that extra info? Is it part of a paid-for package?

Well I was down at Blackbushe today and had a look at this very sad E55....essentially the only panel that wouldn't need work was the roof.....from there down the car needed a full respray if you wanted it to look the part.

I didn't bother waiting to see how it was when started up, as the bodywork was too much of an issue and judging by prices down at Blackbushe today, I suspect that this E55 would have gone for a price in excess of its true value in its current condition.

I know someone who saw it go through and the hammer price was £3250. Add buyers fee and you have a very expensive and crap E55, low mileage or not.

I know this is an old thread but there are a couple of low(ish) mileage facelift S210 E55's on pistonheads.

Worth noting the ad states FSH, yet it went through the auction with only 1 service on record.

He probably traced the history.. Auctions wont even bother to look for it in the glove box if its not handed in at the counter.

Wow they must have sunk some money into that, considering every panel but the roof, needed serious paint.....looks very nice now, considering the dreadful state it was in.

If they have done a good job, that is a rather special car now. And the price doesn't look far wrong either.
