Low miles E36 cab

That car has been for sale for a VERY long time.
A place like that would also be charging top dollar.

Considering both those points, I would assume the price would be verging on eye-watering.

It doesn't stop it from being a stunning example of a rare car, with an extremely high spec!

Its been for sale for ages. I would have thought they probably want 25-30k - perhaps even more. It really does look top notch and a great spec.

Would this have Sportline suspension? I don't see any badge on the wings.

Being a genuine AMG I would expect at least sportline. Not sure if the AMG had a specific suspension set up.

The E36 124s came with sportline suspention as standard but had no badges

I can never understand adverts like that. The car is for sale, offered by a business in the habit of selling things so....what is the price?

Like POA, I just don't get it.

"when a Bentley Corniche was part exchanged for it."

funny that, the bloke who was 2 owners before me traded mine in for a bently corniche too

That rear screen in the soft-top looks much larger than mine. Was there an update to the rear screen between 1994 and 1995/6? Or maybe the soft-top is non-OEM.

It would be nice to have a price though.

Well spotted - no there was not an update (my car is a 1996) and yes it does look to be bigger and therefore must be a non OEM roof

If anyone is after one, there was a lovely E36 advertised on the Gazette last month

Looks about the same size as mine and mine is a 1994.... Cant see anyone making a aftermarket/ non OEM roof that would require a brand new bespoke glass rear screen... The cost of that would be horrendous and would make a MB one a far more sensible option....

The price depends on how gullible you sound when you phone up to enquire.

Yes think you are right - Examined mine tonite and compared to the photos and they appear the same size rear screen.

I can't compare the photo with mine just yet as the car has been away having the soft top frame repaired and a new cover which is due today from Germany.

From that photo, it still looks to me as if it is larger though. If I am wrong - DOH, senility is getting a hold!
