"Low Voltage"

I Had the above message appear on my Audio 20 on trying to start up on my C320CDi today - what does it mean, what's it referring too??

I believe
1: Low voltage supplied to the unit (check alternator/battery)

Or

2: your Audio 20 is f*****

I think its number two as it had problems already - the "Black Guy" in the wood pile is that its a Harman Kardon unit, so need rewiring as its the optic fibre system..
