had a garage put the front links on but instead of fitting the rear they tried to lower it by the STAR system but with out the links it will lock out and the raise and lower wont function.
i have the rear bar but they lost the rubbers that go on the ball joint !
stupid question time.............
cani fit the bar with out the rubbers im assuming there to stop dirt getting into the ball joint and causing corrosion.
any advice even if to tell me i am daft as just refuse to pay another £120+ for 2 penny size washers
before anyone says it
the garage in question done a lot of work and i payed £60 so more then covers the rubbers so it more my tight ass

Where did you get your lowering links from?
I also lost one of the rubber washers on the front lowering links on my E55.
I emailed the seller and he put 4 spares in the post for me for free.
Worth a try.

If the garage lost the rubber washers, I'd be looking at them to replace them.

the garage is a friend mate he's saved me hundreds in labour costs over the years he changed charger oil ,engine oil, checked box oil and a few other bits i had to force him to take £60 and i messaged the seller but i think it was a guy that brought them and sold them but i might try another seller.
