Hi, My w123 1985 230e,s oil pressure reads about 2.3 out of the 3.0 when travelling at 60 mph, Is there a problem with the engine the engine sounds quiet and drives smooth, My other w123 230e (1984 model) has full 3.0 oil pressure but this engine is noisier, Is there a problem with my 1985 engine.

What's the mileage on each car and when did you last change the oil??

Hi, I have just purchased the 1985 230e so have not changed the oil/filter yet mileage reads 97,000 miles, the 1984 has had regular oil/filter changes and the mileage reads 75,000 miles.

Brian, In line with current stealers prices you need to increase yours. Much too cheap for good advice :D
