I have just bought a 190E 2.0 injection (with cat) and want a gas conversion.
I worked in a garage for 9 years, until 2001 so have a good understanding of the ignition and injection systems. Does anyone have any advice for fitting it myself or recommendations for a supplier. What tank is best and where to mount it?

MIght be worth a look...

I haven't used this firm personally, but they came recommended to me. Fitting is fairly simple, then they test it before you use it (and certify it).

Cheers

Do you you still get the hefy discount if it's self-fitted?

Or is it just based on passing and getting cerfified (I thought it was the former).

Your car also has to be almost-new to qualify for any kind of grant.

The government grant is only available to cars under 5 years old

By far the cheapest I've come across, thanks m8

Pity they don't respond to emails or answer the phone :(
