Lubricating the seat tracks

I was watching a Mercedes Source video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsTYBMY867c) and he mentions greasing the seat tracks. I have an R129 and was wondering if

1) This is possible and recommended on that model
and
2) What oil or grease to use, where to apply?

You might consider something like this WD-40 Specialist Anti Friction PTFE Dry Lubricant 400ml | Maplin (worked OK on my W124 Coupe seat rails)

....and it's dead easy to apply, doesn't involve the possibility of getting grease smeared around your interior
