Luckiest man in Russia

I hope he went straight to the lottery shop

oh dear i knew i wasnt going to like watching that

he was pretty cool about it tho'

Interesting that the truck had a video unit in it.
At least the other guy's insurance would be paying (theoretically).
This sort of behaviour doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Driving in Russia requires 360 degree vision, very strong suspension, a powerful engine and good brakes. I'd choose my c230k over the e300d every time if carrying lots of stuff wasn't required. Or a c43 estate if I could stomach the fuel costs of getting there and back every summer.
The worst accident I came across. Two guys squashed almost flat in the front seats of their zhiguli saloon after a head-on collision with arms hanging out of the windows. They weren't going anywhere and everyone was waiting for the police to arrive and record everything. Horrible.

Did they still make him pay for the fuel?

In Russia, fuel is generally paid for in advance.
You hand over sufficient funds to pay for X litres or hand over alot of money and say you want the tank filled completely. After filling up you go back for your receipt and change.
Very very few stations allow you to fuel up and pay later. I've only seen ONE in my entire time in Russia.

That dude looks as though he's lost his van somewhere :D

Spare a thought for the guy in the back of the van, in the white shirt @ 0.16:eek:
