For a while now, my W202 has has a slightly lumpy acceleration.
This happens only at low revs and usually is noticeable in low gears.
If I put it into first, and pull away applying a lot of clutch down, it's fairly smooth. That said, if I release the clutch, it's quite lumpy...
My guesses are:
- Spark plugs
- leads to spark plugs
- Air intake
- Dirty injectors
So I'm going to pass some injector cleaner through the tank again... but in the meantime, can anyone recomend other ideas? If I change the spark plugs, what should I change them too? Similarly, leads: how would I test them or are they a "must change" item?
TIA,
M.
