Lumpy when cold.

Car starts fine, but tickover is very lumpy when cold, but as it warms up it evens out again. Can anyone tell me whats going on ? Car is 09 plate C Class 220 Diesel. any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance.....Colin..Ps. changed fuel and air filter (genuine MB parts) but still same..

Could be a sensor have you had it pluged into diagnostic unit. if no codes might be worth Running some "Forte Injector cleaner" throu system I'm finding the A Class is lumpy but Forte seems to be improving things. I am not a million miles away (worksop) And have some Forte here if you want a bottle (£13 a bottle). I also have a diagnostic code reader.

Could be an injector failing. Quite common on cold start
