M/C Permits only...?

I'm going to a friends graduation tomorrow, and was checking Streetview in the hope to find somewhere to park... I noticed a Motorbike parking lot just in front of the hotel, which is great... problem is, it says:
"M/C Permits Only"

Any ideas as to what this means? Am I right in believing that only residents/permit holders can park there?

M/C Permits Only: *Permit to park in motorcycle bay only"
According to Kensington and Chelsea council it means only motorcycles can park in that bay and they need a special permit to do so.
