Yesterday put my 202 in for test, good result, passed, advisories on rear pads(which I knew were low) and slightly deteriorated rear brake hoses,so a couple of hours work should keep me rolling for pennies, happy chap, and only £35 test fee! :D

Apart from serious underbody rust.

That clearly only affects some, as my one (1999) is perfect underneath. The bodywork (wheel arches) needed redoing, but that and a dent in the bonnet cost me a grand total of £250, and you can't tell they've been done now. Not bad on a car that's nearly 13 years old. Compared to many vehicles of that age they're great (Fords spring to mind... rotboxes).

Our 16 year old Audi A4 (96/P) has zero rust anywhere, and at 150k miles also passed its MOT first time this week (a pleasant surprise!). The only advisory was worn wiper blades, which I replaced today.
