I've just bought a '95 W124 E280 and I'm very pleased with it considering it only cost £620.
The car has cruise but it doesn't work properly. It will engage, then hunt all over the place, then knock itself off.
I've had a look at the throttle linkage and given that a bit of grease but it seems non-obvious how the cruise works. There is another cable coming off the linkage, other than the one that goes to the accelerator cable - is that the one? Any pointers as to where the cruise control module is located?
