M113 Engine performance mods

supercharged 55's so thats SL's, W211's, W215's etc.

But I cant see how the electronics can ever be overcome... You would need serious cash to do this one.

This is the coversion that i want to do to my C43 :D but as you say the ECU/EIS issue is a big barrier :(

Sp!ke,

I agree with SavMan, I don't think they sold (m)any. You may want to try and contact Kleemann in Denmark, as I did, and purchase it direct. It will be a tad cheaper too. The good thing about Kleemann is that everything is high quality and bolts on, so unlike say an AMG s/c off the 55k engine which you can pick up for much cheaper, Kleemann s/c will work out of the box. It has the correct size pulley and pressure not to blow up a N/A engine which has higher compression ratio than the 55k. Shame, as I recently sold my Kleemann s/c kit for a lot less than the screen price. I advertised it here and on ebay but in the end it sold to a guy in Norway.

Anyway, back to the Kleemann s/c kit. I'm not sure they still have all the bits for R129 to make the kit, so your best bet would be to call them and ask. The £15k I mentioned was for the whole thing (manifolds, cams, labour, trip and accomodation). If you want to just have the s/c you can do but temptation of having all the bits fitted while you there is very high. However, it is totally possible to keep the costs down if you're only after the s/c for now. I would recommend getting the manifolds from them as well - supercharged engines don't like the back pressure.

I took some pictures of the s/c when it was removed so if you want to see what makes the kit, PM me your email addy and I will happily email them to you.
