What spark plugs are you using in your M113 engines? I have been on the NGK website and they have 2 options.....

Recommended - PFR5G-11
Upgrade - BKR5EIX-11

Not a lot of difference in price. This is for my 2004 R230 SL500.

Thanks

Both are fine tipped pregapped plugs. The PFR5G-11 is a copper cored [platinum or iridium tipped ] in this case platinum -tipped plug- the rare element tip is supposedly to resist spark erosion better. The BKR5EIX-11 is an iridium cored+tipped plug so no metal to metal junction at the tip, with better erosion resistance
The iridium plug is supposed to be the longer life plug and may run fractionally cooler but to be honest there's probably not much in it. Either would do but factoring the labour costs of plug replacement I would tend to go for the longerlife plug.
