I don't know when / if the oil in the supercharger for my car has ever been changed. Is this as tricky to do as I think it is? Best to get an indy to do it?

The oil I believe is Mobil 1 Jet oil II, is that correct?

Thanks.

Check out this video before doing the job Mike. Bit long winded but thorough.

Thanks Roger. I fell asleep watching that.

It's not a hard job, you'll need a small clear hose (1/4 inch or smaller), a large siring (the type you get at a farm supply place) , a hex tool (I can't remember what size) a rag, an empty plastic bottle and a clothes peg

1) Put the rag under the supercharger where the drain/fill bolt located to make sure that you can catch it if it falls
2) put the clothes peg on your nose
3) undo the bolt and suck the old oil out with the siring and tube (make sure you measure the amount you remove)
4) empty contents into clear bottle
5) replace using the same siring with new oil (I used Mobil Jet oil 3) putting back exactly what came out
6) save old supercharger oil so that you can make friends smell it when they come to visit

I will have to have a garage do this as I have not got a peg, or any friends !!!!!!
