I had a little stab at reviving an old discussion on MBWorld about Eurocharged V6 for the M156. I didn't expect it to go anywhere but it looks like it's coming in November (http://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w204/585142-eurocharge-v6-wishlist-5.html). Here is what they had to say:

"Hey all, this is Dave from Eurocharged ATX, in Austin. I wanted to join the discussion about the V.6 tune and also talk a little bit about an exciting new project we're developing in conjunction with the V.6 tune here at Eurocharged.. I'm sure we all know that some of the fastest current 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile cars are taking advantage of Ethanol - it's ability to cool the air charge, and it's stoich point allow it to be injected in higher quantities, which both cools the cylinder, and creates more power... Up until this point tuning for E85 on Mercedes vehicles has been difficult because of the wide variance of ethanol content you can get at the pump. This brings me to our announcement... FLEX FUEL for Mercedes!! We have spent years working on an E85 solution, and been in development for some time on a kit for Mercedes. It's now a reality. We currently have development kits on a C63, and an E55.

2012 C63 Sedan
- Eurocharged Tune, ROW, and is otherwise bone stock. With 70% Ethanol in the tank, the car makes 477WHP/435WTQ

2004 E55 Sedan
- Eurocharged Tune, 178mm Crank, Longtubes, 82mm TB, 750cc injectors. With 75-80% Ethanol the car makes 578WHP/602WTQ

With V6 nearing its release, it will give the ability to further customize your Eurocharged Tune. V.6 will already have a power increase (about 5hp) but also includes refinements to throttle maps, timing maps, and fueling. It will include the option to set your Rev Limiter, and delete the "Cold Start" function. With the new Ethanol controller, we can also give you the ability to run custom maps tailored specifically for Ethanol. If you have a MyGenius Handheld, you can have a custom Ethanol map for the track, and you can flash back and forth as you desire. Keep in mind that the system is FLEX, so you don’t need to always run an "ethanol tune" and worry about putting 93 in the tank... use 93/91, or ethanol and switch back and forth - the system will take care of everything.

On the 55 (M133K) cars, 750cc injectors are required in most cases; please contact us for information on this subject. Good news for the M156 guys - the stock injectors/fuel system can support up to 550WHP, so you're good to go.

We are also working on a V12 in the coming weeks, and possibly an AMG 32 motor, so if you have one of those, please stay tuned!

One more thing I want to touch on is the upcoming TT kit that will be available for the M156 platform. It is in the works and testing has and is being performed currently. Houston will be the best point of contact for information about the TT. For E85, contact Adam (PACougar on this Forum) at the Eurocharged ATX location. We look forward to further development with Ethanol, especially in conjunction with the TT kit and current supercharged cars. We are very excited to be able to now take advantage of all the benefits that Ethanol has provided other manufacturers - We look forward to hearing what the forum members think about it."

He then goes on to talk further about E85 which is a great benefit to US owners but since Morrisons stopped selling it here, it's of little relevance. Shame as a stock C63 with tune made 477whp according to his report above.

How soon will V6 be available to UK owners? I'm interested to test the difference but I can't remember how in the hell I got the V5 map onto my MyGenius in the first place, so I'm going to need a tutorial again.

That thread title confused me. A V6 M156 engine? surely not:doh:
Then I read the post:doh:

Are eurocharged still doing free upgrades from V4 to V5 to V6 etc?

and delete the "Cold Start" function

Why would you want to do that!!! It's a pity it doesn't do it all the time lol... :bannana:

+1 :fail

Ref the E85: I assume our engines won't suffer from melted components such as injector seals and fuel lines?

I want the cold start delete.
Since removing the 2nd cats and resonator, it's thunderous on first start.
When left for an hour or two it's still loud but not as bad :(

Could it mean version 6. of a eurocharged tune?

Well worked out Rash, it never leaves you. About time you came back here :thumb:

Try an M157 with no cats, just 3" pipes all the way. It can be embarrasing, but hilarious at the same time.

And yes, it by-passes the turbos before anyone mentions it. :D

True.

However if your C63 is decatted, sweet Lord, you wouldn't even want it to do it every time. I heard one and was expecting it to be loud, but it still made me jump

It is, well the secondary ones anyway! :-)
