M157 Timing Chain “Fix”

Hello, I’ve agreed on a purchase of 2012 ML63, subsequently I’ve discovered the “timing chain issue”, there are no apparent problems with the car but I’m concerned about future problems arising, has any one taken their M157 into MB for the tensioner and check valve remedy as a preventative measure? I’ve read that MB seem reluctant to carry out the work if there is no perceived problem, should have bought a later one I know but this one seemed very good all round! Live n learn eh!
