Apple's keynote speech is scheduled for 5pm GMT today.

Amongst the new stuff rumoured to be annouced, are:-

New Intel powered Mac Mini's
New Intel powered iBooks
New iPod Shuffles (possibly with screen)

No live streaming from the event, but latest information will be on www.thinksecret.com, www.macrumors.com, etc...

Nice looking products! Was hoping for the new intel based mini that was rumoured though.

Yeah, shame they didn't update the iBooks or Shuffles either...

Got a 15" Powerbook G4 last week, my first Apple computer after around 15-20 years of PCs running Microsoft OS'es - why the hell didn't I convert sooner? Its so much better!

Mac's are great and OSX has been a really good thing at my place. It does everything with a minimum of fuss and is very stable and sensible. The wife and sister in law have now been migrated to the Mac and they love it. Only one question so far about a specific function in the Mac version of Excel not working the same way.

If Microsoft made Visio for the Mac then I'd probably ditch my consulting laptop.

Having said all that I still spend most of my time on the XP box upstairs, but I cannot fit a terrabyte into the mac mini just yet.
