ML 164 320 CDI:
Engine light came on and into limp modes. A couple of codes came up pointing to the RH MAF Sensor and temp sensor.

This is what I found!

No idea how that happened but I am struggling to find the part number. I've tried searching What looks the most obvious on the plug:

These are tiny and the others on the other side don't lead me anywhere either aprt from light bulbs or a parking sensor. All the part stores just show me MAF sesnors.

Does anyone know what the part number is?

Might this fit ??

Did rats feast on your wiring?
Buy only premium brand genuine parts or OEM Bosch from autoparts store on interweb.

Would love to buy I can't find the part number.

Visit any UK interwebshop.
Type in your VIN or plate number, search mode will find specific part for your car.
Or you may call your local dealer asking for price and partsnumber, they will help ya.
Kein problem! :thumb:

I’ve tried as well with no success , I think the plug will only come as part of the wiring loom ?

Tried that, all I get offered is the MAF sensor. Looks like a call to the dealership.

I once bought a repair kit for a VW Passat , it's basically the plastic connector and the wires with the crimps on you push through , all the wires are the same colour ,so do take notice . Mercedes Ones might be different, but they are available.

Yep any auto electrician will have that repaired for you in no time.

Found it!

Take that info to a mb dealers in the UK. They do come under ' repair kit ' on the EPC.

I noticed the seller is in the UK. You were on eBay.com and not eBay UK. My bad 😬

It's looking like left to right for the wiring then. Unless your colour blind , then it's 1 to 4 😬😬

Eventually sorted this out.

The replacement plug though correct, had different coloured wiring to the wiring on the MAF loom but using what was left of the wires hanging out of the old plug as reference for pins 1-4, I still managed to get 2 & 3 the wrong way round 🙄

Anyway, I wired it up correctly on the second attempt, started the car...and the engine light was still on. Checked connections on the volt meter, all correct.

I then plugged the MAF plug into a spare MAF sensor, engine light goes away. I plugged it back into the MAF sensor on plenum, no engine light and it's stayed off all day.

I'm taking that as a win 🎉🤓
