Magic Radio?

Sometimes when I unlock the car and open the door, the radio comes straight away.

Other times it only comes on once I've turned the ignition on.

Does anyone know why .

I never actually turn the radio off, leaving the ignition key to do the work, if this helps.

Spookily enough I have the same issue with my E430, I had thought my mind was just playing tricks about whether my daughter had turned the radio off the previous time, or if it was related to having the music turned up too loud for MB to allow it to be turned on again on start-up.

I can't help about the reason, but at least it confirms I'm not going mad alone!
