Main beam light turns yellow?

My car is a 2003 E320cdi avangarde.

When I turn on my main beam the drivers side lights turn from a white light to a yellow light after 20-30 seconds. While the passenger side stays white as it should do.

What do I need to change/fix?

Rectify the faulty earth connection.
Prove this by running a wire from the brown wire on the bulb base to a known good earth point (e.g. a shiny clean point on the engine).

Do you have zenons?

If you do dont do what Ted suggests as it runs a very high voltage.

Swap the bulbs over and see if that makes a difference.

I think I have xenons?
As it produces a bright white light with a hint of blue??
Does it come as standard on the avangarde??

Are you sure you don't have cornering lights that come on when you turn the steering wheel that are giving the yellow tinge?

definitely no cornering lights
