Well done,not sure I would go to a main dealer for any make for a MOT,I use a place that is about 10 miles away because they do not give advisories because our cars are shrouded,they have passed my car 3 times now no problems

They give automatic discounts for older cars:

3, 4 and 5 year old vehicles
Stocked parts discount on workshop repairs and servicing - 10%
Labour Discount - 20%

6, 7 and 8 year old vehicles
Stocked parts discount on workshop repairs and servicing - 10%
Labour Discount - 40%
MOT Cost - £20

9 + year old vehicles
Stocked parts discount on workshop repairs and servicing - 15%
Labour Discount - 40%
MOT Cost - £10

I can only speak for Guildford but I've never had any issues there with pushing to have things done on the car. They used to give free MOTs until a year or two ago!
