Main Dealer or aftermarket parts???

I'm in need of a coolant stat for my W211 270cdi. The MB dealer part is £62 and the ones on ebay are c£30.

Is the MB one worth the extra? Some even claim to be the original part.

Just for the fact that it will fit correctly and will work to the correct spec I would go with the original part.

Why dont you look up Merc85, he is a member here & his threads on his Brutus & his E320 cdi will show you how good after market parts are...he owns an after market motor factors & will help you out!

Just fitted a stat bought off eBay to my ML270cdti and had no problems whatsoever.
