Hey peeps,

Just bought a workshop manual for my W210, however my model is not covered. I seem to remember reading about the engines released in the USA and the manual I have would seem to cover these models. I have a E240 can anyone recomend a manual for it? Or is the E230 or E280 listed in the manual similar to the E240 in anyway?

Me Too

I have spent ages searching and all the manuals that I can find for the W210 include all engines except the 240 .
Does anyone know why and does anyone know where I can find the right manual ?

They Haynes for the W202 only covers the C180-C220 IIRC, might be one diesel in there.

99% of the car is the same as the next model, I'd not worry about it unless you intend to do some work on the actual engine!

 Not Cheap! Do you know if the E240 engine is similar to the ones above or below it? Cheers for replying.

It isn't cheap if you subscribe for a year. But the shortest periods is usually sufficient, one can download/print documents for later use.

I'm not familiar with the engine differences but this again can be seen from EPC, that is cheap (only available for a yearly subscription). Another option for cars of this age is the "free EPC":

So are there workshop manuals available for all models as they are in the Ford arena?

as they have proved very useful to me in the past when rummaging around with a screwdriver in my car

For the more modern models there is only one electronic manual i.e. WIS

You can only access WIS on-line..

Prices WIS net Access Period
1 Hour 4.00 €
1 Day 20.00 €
1 Week 70.00 €
