I went to see this last night with Other Half, her darling Daughter (age 10) and DD's friend also 10.

I've not laughed so much at a movie in years, it was very entertaining indeed considering I wasn't really looking forward to seeing it.

Julie Walters is just fantastic in it, and Pierce Brosnan's singing is so bad it's good!

All in all a very entertaining 2 hours.

I recommend it to all, great fun.

My wife saw it and loved it too. Makes a change to has a good English film.

My wife loved it so much she and a big group are going to see it again.....

God help us when they have Mama Mia nights with sing along bouncing balls...(no pun intended)..:D

I'll wait until it comes on sky......

Thanks for the review Mudster, now I don't have to go and see it.

If I ever need an ABBA film I just watch Muriels wedding. Great film, very funny.

I was dragged, screaming and protesting, by the other half and the sister-in-law to watch a musical, I've never laughed so much in living memory. Volunteer and take the wife, you will be rewarded ten fold.

PIERCE BROSNAN singing!, i was stunned how entertaining the film was.
