I am I the only person totally baffled by this state of affairs? Radovan Karadzic failed to turn up for his trial today. Like he should have any choice in the matter? Radovan Karadzic snubs Hague court - Europe, World - The Independent

Quite unbelievable isnt it, just said on the news that they will not remove him from his cell by force !!!

Unfortunately quoting the independent:- "According to the tribunal's rules of procedure, the defendant's presence in court is essential for the trial to be considered fair" ----- in the absence of accused or his lawyer representing him [and he hasn't got one since he is representing himself ] the trial can't go ahead. Another very nice man his mate the late Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic did exactly the same thing.
