Why wouldn`t you use an online courier service? I`ve used many to send smallish items up to 4 19 inch alloys.

Why not try interparcel or paisleyfreight, have used both several times with no issues. Recently used interparcel to send a large box (50cm x 50cm x 60cm weighing 19kg) for a mere cost of around £12 IIRC. Interparcel subsequently used Parcelforce 48hr, yet when I got a quote from PF direct, they were nigh on 3 times the price! Go figure.
