Mandrus wheels

I have Mandrus wheels on my MB and so do a few members. I recently put a set on an ML.

I can get them if you wish.

I thought they were carlsson!

I have Mandrus wheels on my CLK and like them. As long as you like them and don't expect them to enhance the value of your car then I'd say go for it.

Made by TSW.

Should be banned all of you! ;):D

Im down at Hayling Island a lot so that would be great! Would you be able to fit them too? :)

I know it's down to personal opnion, but what would you go for? 17 or 18s? And would ride comfort suffer with either of these upgrades?

18's all the way.

Stats they are not made by TSW just imported by them I think.

Give me a call tomorrow and I will be happy to help.

I've just been reading the thread about OE and AM wheels. Very interesting! Where do these Mandrus wheels sit in the debate? Bling or stylish???

Bit of both really.

I have found them to be very robust as they do not seem to deform like other non gen wheels in potholes etc.

They are not too heavy either.

Pot , Kettle , Black ?

So, thumbs up for the Mandrus then! :)......

You are more than welcome to pop in to have a look at my wheels on the 210

The Mandrus rims are made specifically for Mercedes fitment.
Below are staggered 18" Millenium's om my wife's 1999 C43.
Ride comfort depends mostly on your choice of tires.
I use Falken FK-452's which are extremely comfortable with no road noise.

OFF TOPIC

Many years ago ( early 80's ) I often visited Hayling Island....
I was importing to the USA pre 1968 Jags, Astons, Rollers and Bentleys...
My "partner" was a fine gentleman by the name of Peter Kilham who traded under the name of "Greg's Autos "....
Lost touch..not sure if he is still alive...his daughter spent some time with us at our home in the States...
Small island...are you familiar with the family ?

black55 have you any better pics of your w210 with them wheels on? because im after a set of rims for mine because the original avantgarde rims are scabby now :o

What tyres would you recommend so the rims don't stick out beyond the tyre, but still will fit comfortably in the arches?

Also, do the standard MB centres fit ok?

I'm leaning very much towards these, in 18".... :)

No, I don't know the family, but there are a few car dealers on the Island, I wonder if one of them is the one... :)

My wife and I go to the Island a lot, maybe every other weekend, for cycling, sailing and just enjoying the peace (we never go during the holiday season when it gets manic!!) We stay at a lovely hotel called The Langstone where we're so well known that we hardly need to book any more! LOL!
