Map Updates for ML320 and ML350 (W164) Advice Needed Please

Hello Everyone,

I need some help before I contact MB, so that I know I am asking the right thing

I have recently purchased an 2010 ML350 and a family member already has a 2006 ML320.


I think the map updates are about £150 from MB, but I cannot find the command model on one of them if any one can help?

Both are W164 type from what I can find.

This is my car (ML350) and I can found out it is the NTG2.5 type command center with SD slot and hard drive:

Mercedes-Benz M-Class 2010 W164 [2005-2011] SUV SUV ML 350 CDi 4matic 2987ccm 224HP 165KW (Diesel) NTG2.5


My family member has(ML320):

Mercedes-Benz M-Class 2006 W164 [2005-2016] SUV SUV ML 320 CDi 4matic 2987ccm 224HP 165KW (Diesel).

For the ML320 I think I just need to buy the DVD from MB dealership, but does anyone know the NTG version on that model? It is NTG1.0? Also the maps have never been updated - can I buy the 2017 DVD or have I have to do an interim update first?

For the ML350, I have no idea what i need to get for the maps - do they sell a SD card version or do MB upload it to the car when you take it in?

Ask the guys at Comand on line, they have the maps and all the info you need, give them a call.

Hi Larkin, currently I am unable to receive private messages - but see if you can email me from my account details? Interested in what price you are after and I will check NTG version on the ML320 (I think it may be the older version).

For the 350 I noticed while connected to bluetooth it go live traffic info, so perhaps the HD version don't update the same way?

I have a 2007 ML320cdi which also has Command with the original disc in it. I think from my checking that it has NTG2 version of Command . But I could be wrong!

Cannot email or PM you - £40 for the disks - they are original and list your M-Class 09/08 - 11/11 for Comand-APS 2015/2016 V13 Europe and worked in my
NTG2.5

Try asking the mods to switch on PMs for you.
