Has anyone used them for the repair of a head unit ?

The 6x CD changer in our XC90 has gone.....and Volvo are looking at £550.00 + labour to code & replace.

£550 plus labour and then VAT equals circa £1K.
Expensive.

Whatever happened to the "good old days" when you could buy a nice Radiomobile radio for 18 guineas and fit it yourself in an afternoon ? ? ?

Never used them myself but I know that MB Bath (John Tallis as was ) used to use and recommend them.

Those were the days! Also when you brought a Merc or BM the radio was extra!! and aerial. Oh but then Merc started to fit the aerial as standard. Manual ones!!
