Mart Brabus 451 Exhaust?

Mercedes has stopped making exhausts for the Brabus Smart (451)

Apparently they only 'have' to make them for 10 years (Mercedes in Milton Keynes told me).


Any ideas? We cant just throw away a Brabus because they don't make exhausts any more.

They were not v good quality anyway and not much change out of £1000 so time to find an alternative.

Any ideas (apart from avoid the brand in the future LOL)?

Find your nearest Longlife or Powerflow custom exhaust dealer and have one made up.
Not all that cheap, but stainless so will probably last the life of the car.

Anthony, sorry to hear of your woes. Smart have unfortunately discontinued many products, even service parts. A good exhaust specialist will be able to transfer the exhaust tips across to a new aftermarket exhaust.

A commonly repeated motoring myth...although there was a gentleman's agreement amongst manufacturers to produce spare parts for cars for ten years after production it was never more than that....if they wanted to stop making spares as soon as the warranty expired they could. Many ALFA parts become unobtainable well before the ten year guideline....especially electronics and ECUs... which is very handy!

Can anyone recommend anywhere near High Wycombe (Oxford / Reading / Milton Keynes / West London)
