Here

I like the alloys but not convinced they suit the W208. It may have 'modest' mileage but it still is not worth £14K!

.............it's the unopened first aid kit that adds the ££££ Peter! ;)

Wow, that means my unopened (and completely time expired, and therefore useless) First Aid kit makes mine worth £6K more than I thought it was!

Was £16995 for a long time!

Really! I wonder:

a) how much he paid for it.
b) how long it has been unsold, and therefore costing him money..
c) whether he looks at Autotrader to see if the selling price is competitive against similar models

and add...

d) how much he would offer me for my CLK55 against that one or any other of his cars.... (I am guessing that it would be about half of what he has that marginally younger one and slightly less miles CLK55 is up for!)

Its been on auto trader for about 18 months. Bet its not been serviced while its gathering dust. There was a jasper blue one for sale with a different trader last may. Rare colour great spec £12995. Trader had a mega low miles clk identical to mine except for being silver at £9995. I was offered £4k for mine as p/ex. When i questioned the difference trader told me nobody wants blue clk,s. Had no response when i reminded him the one he was selling me was blue!

i made it as clear as mud. He had a jasper blue 55 and a mega low miles silver 230.
I wanted to trade my blue clk against his 55;)

Dream land,

New shape ones are almost that price.

It will be for sale a long long time I feel

I can't believe someone bought it originally and debadged it. If I had a CLK55, I think I would want everyone to know. Debadging it makes it look like a wannabe CLK230 or something. Then the new owner then buys fake badges of fleabay, puts them on the wrong side, and parks it outside The Boss's office, only for him to start a new thread complete with photo.......

dont like the wheels at all.
Could be factory debadge as it is 1 owner
