Match box mercedes, How much **£4300**

you could probably buy a real one for that much!!!! (not in brilliant condition but at least you will be able to sit in it)

Yikes thats a serious amount of money, wish I hadn't said it was okay to have all of mine thrown away now !

:) You can put a price on anything.

I know nothing about toy collecting but surely to give this pile of **** any value it would need to be in perfect condition, and in the box???

£40000+ for a matchbox toy??? The World has finally gone mad.

John

In September 2005, one of these (in a different colour) sold as part of a lot with 4 other cars, all excellent to mint, and boxed.

£70.

Go figure......

The only time I've ever agreed with anything James May had to say was when he bought a collectable train set MIB and threw all the packaging away and used the train.

My point was that you'd inflated the asking price from four thousand to forty thousand. :)

That's a relief! I thought I was going to get some virtual negative r*p. :)

A thousand, no a million apologies, how could I have missed it. Blame the medication I say.

A million apologies for being such a dolt :o :o
